Implementing Telework in a Crisis - How to's , Resources and Funding
As the community works together to reduce the threat of COVID-19, businesses are looking to telework to assure continuity of operations and to keep their employees and their families safe. Jeremy Holmes, Director of RIDE Solutions – the region’s Commuter Assistance Program – will share strategies for ramping up a telework program quickly, and resources – including technology recommendations - to help managers and employees remain connected and productive during an emergency telework period.
Morgan Romeo of Virginia Career Works will share information about an emergency funding program to help employers cover the costs of equipment and services to support telework and avoid layoffs.

Jeremy Holmes is Director of RIDE Solutions, the Commuter Assistance Program for central and southwest Virginia. RIDE Solutions provides ridematching, bike commute and transit support, vanpool formation, and telework services to commuters and businesses in the Roanoke, Lynchburg, New River Valley, Martinsville and Danville regions.
