SML Gives Inc.

Joey Donovant leads SML Gives Inc., a 501(c)(3) fighting hunger around Smith Mountain Lake.  Through three key initiatives, SML Gives inc works to fight hunger and decrease poverty.  Core programming includes a Mobile Food Distribution, their Partner Pantry Program, Meals on Wheels food delivery, and the future Empowerment Center, a project still in development.  He partners with organizations like Lake Christian Ministries, Transition Basics, and Stepping Stone Mission to deliver much needed food resources to homebound neighbors experiencing food insecurity.  Through their Partner Pantry Program, SML Gives inc sources and distributes food in bulk to area pantries that in turn, redistribute to neighbors.
