Electrical Project Manager

As we continue to grow, we are seeking an experienced Electrical Project Manager to lead and oversee job sites, ensuring efficient and high-quality project execution.

The Project Manager must be able to successfully lead a team of electricians and helpers by ensuring all materials and tools are on site. You will oversee electrical construction projects from start to finish, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and according to specifications. The candidate must possess a strong work ethic, as well as a passion for driving success and company growth.

Duties

  • Plan, coordinate, and oversee electrical projects for residential, commercial, or industrial sites.
  • Develop project timelines, budgets, and work schedules.
  • Ensure all work aligns with blueprints, specifications, and industry standards.
  • Supervise electricians, apprentices, subcontractors, and other personnel.
  • Assign tasks and ensure the team meets deadlines and quality standards.
  • Conduct site visits to monitor progress and resolve issues.
  • Track expenses and ensure financial efficiency.
  • Communicate all material purchases and labor costs.
  • Ensure projects comply with NEC codes, OSHA regulations, and local building codes.
  • Conduct safety meetings and enforce job site safety protocols.
  • Address and resolve compliance or permitting issues.
  • Provide project updates, resolve concerns, and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain project records, contracts, and progress reports.
  • Use project management software to track progress and performance.

Experience

  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in electrical construction, with hands-on fieldwork in residential, commercial, or industrial projects.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, power distribution, and control systems.
  • Familiarity with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and local building regulations.
  • Experience troubleshooting and resolving complex electrical issues.
  • 3+ years of experience managing electrical projects, from planning to completion.
  • Proven ability to oversee multiple projects, manage schedules, and control budgets.
  • Understanding of project lifecycle, including estimating, procurement, execution, and closeout.
  • Experience working with project management software preferred.
  • Experience leading teams of electricians, subcontractors, and apprentices.
  • Ability to delegate tasks, provide guidance, and ensure productivity on-site.
  • Strong problem-solving skills to address job site challenges effectively.
  • Familiarity with OSHA regulations and job site safety requirements.
  • Experience handling inspections and ensuring compliance with electrical codes.
  • Ability to conduct safety meetings and enforce safety policies.
  • Experience working directly with clients, contractors, and suppliers.
  • Strong negotiation skills for contracts, bids, and material procurement.
  • Ability to communicate technical details clearly to non-technical stakeholders.

Pay: $31.00 - $34.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
