Skilled Electrician

Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience working in various settings, including residential, commercial, industrial remodels and new construction sites. As an Electrician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems and your expertise will ensure that all electrical work is completed safely and efficiently. Must be knowledgeable with NEC and local codes. Must be a team player with strong work ethic, as well as a passion for driving success and company growth.

Duties

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures in accordance with relevant codes and standards.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine the layout of electrical systems.
• Utilize power tools and hand tools effectively to complete tasks related to electrical installations.
• Conduct tests using an Ohmmeter and other diagnostic tools to troubleshoot electrical issues.
• Renovate existing electrical systems to improve efficiency or comply with updated regulations.
• Work on both high voltage and low voltage systems as required by project specifications.
• Collaborate with other tradespeople on construction sites to ensure seamless project execution.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols.
• Must be able to drive your vehicle to job sites and own a basic set of tools.

Experience

• Proven experience as an Electrician in residential, industrial, AND commercial settings is preferred.
• Familiarity with the use of power tools and equipment commonly used in electrical work.
• Strong understanding of electrical codes, safety practices, and regulations.
• Ability to read schematics and technical documents accurately.
• Experience working on construction sites.
• Certification or licensure as an Electrician is highly desirable and preferred.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $28.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 40 per week

Schedule:

• 10 hour shift
• 12 hour shift
• 8 hour shift
• Weekends as needed
